Visualize pyramids, prisms, and cylinders from two-dimensional drawings. Identify nets of cubes, cuboids, prisms, and pyramids. Identify a solid represented by a net. Determine whether a figure can be the net of a given solid. Determine whether a solid can be formed from a given net.**Ratio and Fractions**– Compare quantities using ratios. Express a ration in its simplest form. Relate ratios to units. Review the use of pictorial models in solving word problems. Express a ratio as a fraction of a quantity and vice versa. Solve word problems involving ratios and fractions.**Ratio and Proportion**– Understand ratio as proportion. Solve word problems that involve direct proportions.**Changing Ratios**– Solve word problems that involve finding a new ratio after a change. Solve word problems where there is a transfer from one quantity to another. Solve ratio problems that involve only one quantity changing. Solve ration problems that involve more than one quantity changing.**General Review**– Review material covered in first third of the 6A (Algebra, Solid Figures and Ratios).**Percentage: Part of a Whole as a Percentage**– Express part of a whole as a fraction or as a percentage. Express a fraction as a percentage. Express a percentage as a fraction in simplest form. Express a decimal of up to 3 decimal places as a percentage. Express a percentage as a decimal.
